Against both my wife's and my objections, Petersen awarded custody of my daughter who was 15 at the time to her 27 year old biological sister. Our objections were that her sister had a record of being irresponsible, did not value education, and was allowing a 20 year old male friend to live in the apartment. In spite of our protests, Petersen awarded custody of our daughter to her older sister. Our daughter shared a room with the 20 year old man for over 8 months at her sister’s apartment. We discovered that she was pregnant when she was returned to our custody. Petersen got extremely mad when I told him he was responsible for the pregnancy.
